What do Audible Standard and Premium Plus include?
Audible Standard lets members select one audiobook each month and retain access while membership remains active, plus unlimited listening from a curated library. Audible’s higher-priced Premium membership—labeled Premium Plus in the receipts analyzed here—adds the full unlimited-listening catalog and one monthly credit for an audiobook the member can keep. Assumptions & Methodologies
We analyzed our U.S. e-receipt panel through August 17, 2026. The cohort included 10,377 Standard and 16,415 Premium Plus members present before August 2025 and active within 30 days. Tier names came from anchored receipt line items. Earlier Premium Plus receipts classify previous Premium Plus members but do not reveal whether Standard prevented churn or reduced revenue. External overlap measures a paid receipt, not listening; free and third-party-billed plans may be missed. The overlap comparison uses the blended Standard cohort, not new members alone. Results reflect observed panel behavior, not market totals.
