How did Canva compare with Adobe inside Figma subscribers’ wallets?

Figma subscribers also paid Adobe at 23.2%, above the 14.5% who paid Canva. Because Adobe’s panel-wide rate was higher, Figma subscribers were 4.3 times as likely as active panelists to pay Adobe but 6.9 times as likely to pay Canva. These relative likelihoods describe co-holding, not which service came first or whether one replaced another.

Assumptions & Methodologies

We analyzed YipitData’s U.S. e-receipt panel from Aug. 2025–Aug. 2026. The active panel contained 1.39 million users, including 4,717 direct-billed Figma subscribers, 74,607 Adobe subscribers, and 29,724 Canva subscribers. Merchant receipts capture individual or self-serve subscriptions, not enterprise-invoiced seats. Adobe is a broad merchant bucket that includes Creative Cloud, Acrobat, and other products. Relative likelihood divides a cohort’s co-subscription rate by the active-panel rate. Framer and Sketch were below reportable sample sizes and are not evaluated. Results describe observed co-holding among individually billed subscribers, not adoption sequence, substitution, churn, causation, or enterprise behavior.
