How did Tile’s average observed Amazon price compare with no-name trackers?

Tile’s captured Amazon items averaged $30.17, compared with $27.69 for no-name tags. The $2.48 difference shows close average observed prices in this channel, but it does not compare identical products. Tile’s average can change with the mix of Mate, Sticker, Pro, multipack, and discounted units, while the no-name group combines many sellers.

How did Tile’s average observed Amazon price change over time?

Tile’s quarterly average was $51.45 in the second quarter of 2024, $30.73 in the fourth quarter of 2024, $25.26 in the fourth quarter of 2025, and $32.60 in the second quarter of 2026. The decline can reflect product mix and promotions as well as pricing, so it should not be read as a list-price change.

Does the Amazon comparison represent the total tracker market?

No. The analysis is restricted to captured Amazon connected-account purchases so every compared item uses one consistent channel. Trackers bought in stores, directly from manufacturers, or through unconnected accounts are missing. It also does not show that a buyer switched from Tile to another brand; the figures are channel shares and average observed prices, not household-level substitution.

Assumptions & Methodologies

We analyzed Amazon connected-account purchases in our U.S. Physical Receipt Panel. Item trackers were identified from the GPS-tracking-device category after excluding accessories, vehicle trackers, toll transponders, SIM products, and unrelated GPS items. Tile included Tile and Tile by Life360; no-name tags were item finders outside the major named tracker brands. Unit shares covered July 2024 through June 2026, while quarterly prices used the third quarter of 2023 through the second quarter of 2026. Results are unscaled channel observations; classification noise, promotion, and product mix can affect them.
