How long did the observed Ubisoft+ subscriptions last?
Among 850 Ubisoft+ subscribers with a clean start-to-cancellation sequence, the median time to cancellation was 53 days, and 58% canceled within two months. The sample excludes subscriptions without a fully observed cancellation, so it describes completed subscription stints rather than all active Ubisoft+ subscribers.
Assumptions & Methodologies
We analyzed YipitData’s U.S. e-receipt panel from Jun. 2024–Jun. 2026. The Ubisoft+ cohort included 858 established, still-active panelists with Ubisoft+, Rainbow Six, or Rocksmith+ subscription signals; the comparison cohort included 3,756 direct Ubisoft Store game buyers with no subscription signal. Rival plans were Microsoft-billed Xbox Game Pass, Sony-billed PlayStation Plus, and EA Play. The sequence analysis used 850 Ubisoft+ subscribers with clean start-to-cancellation histories and cancellations before May 2026, providing at least 100 days of follow-up; 608 held Xbox Game Pass or PlayStation Plus. Receipt capture makes rival-holding rates a lower bound, and subscriptions acquired only through platform bundles are out of scope. Results describe panel-observed sequence and persistence, not causal substitution, market totals, whether the same subscribers return for later launches, or whether different pricing would improve retention.
