Assumptions & Methodologies

YipitData analyzed emailed receipts on July 20, 2026. The cohort included approximately 8,300 U.S. panelists with an Acorn TV payment from July 20, 2025, through July 20, 2026. Payments were identified in receipt details and email subject lines, including transactions billed directly by Acorn TV. Netflix and BritBox were counted separately, so one person could be included in both percentages. The panel may miss receipts sent to email accounts it does not capture or payments processed by billing providers it does not cover. Rates are reported as whole-number percentages and do not necessarily represent subscriptions active at the same time.
