Assumptions & Methodologies

YipitData analyzed its U.S. e-receipt panel on July 20, 2026. The dating-app cohort included 16,365 panelists with a Tinder, Bumble, or Grindr payment receipt from July 2025 through June 2026. The comparison group included 912,430 active panelists with at least 24 recorded orders during the same period and excluded the dating-app cohort. A category counted when a panelist had at least one payment receipt. Each multiple divides the dating-app cohort's share by the comparison group's share and rounds to one decimal. Differences may partly reflect age mix and overall online purchasing activity; the analysis did not adjust for age.
