Each multiple compares 549 app-store-billed Linktree subscribers with 33,859 other app subscribers from Aug. 17, 2024-Aug. 17, 2026; 1.0× means equal likelihood.
Likelihood relative to other app subscribers
Source: YipitData U.S. e-receipt panel. Seller signals used business-only Square, Stripe, or Shopify receipt language; buyer receipts and personal payments were excluded. Nineteen Linktree subscribers matched any seller signal; five matched the Square customer-payment signal.
Chart data
| Series | Likelihood relative to other app subscribers |
|---|---|
| Square customer-payment signal | ~6.5× |
| Any strict seller signal | ~5.9× |
How many Linktree subscribers showed a seller signal?
Nineteen of the 549 Linktree subscribers (3.46%) had at least one strict seller signal, compared with 200 of 33,859 other app subscribers (0.59%). Five Linktree subscribers (0.91%) had the narrower Square customer-payment signal, compared with 47 other app subscribers (0.14%). Both comparisons point to a several-fold difference, but the small Linktree counts make the exact multiple uncertain.
Assumptions & Methodologies
We analyzed U.S. e-receipts from Aug. 17, 2024-Aug. 17, 2026. The Linktree cohort included 549 panelists with paid-tier Apple or Google Play receipts; web-billed subscriptions were excluded. The comparison used a ~3% sample of 33,859 other app subscribers. Seller signals required business-only Square, Stripe, or Shopify receipt language; personal payments and buyer confirmations were excluded. This method captures only sellers with these receipt types. Because only 19 Linktree subscribers matched, treat the difference as roughly 3× to 8×. The results do not show that Linktree caused seller activity. We did not adjust the panel to match U.S. demographics.
