How much more often did Logos subscribers pay for a devotional app?

Logos subscribers were 21.6 times as likely as all app-store subscribers to also pay for a tracked devotional app. Their overlap with mainstream streaming or music was 78.2% versus 47.5% for the benchmark, only 1.6 times the comparison rate. The much larger devotional-app gap suggests a category-specific pattern rather than only heavier app spending.

Which devotional apps did Logos subscribers also pay for?

Among Logos subscribers, 14.9% also paid for YouVersion or Bible App+, 9.9% paid for Dwell, 6.5% paid for Hallow, and 5.0% paid for Abide. Because those results represent 39, 26, 17, and 13 people, respectively, treat the exact percentages as approximate.

Does co-payment show which app came first?

No. The analysis measured whether payments occurred in the same 24-month window, not their sequence or whether the apps were used at the same time. It also cannot determine whether a devotional app complements or substitutes for Logos.

Assumptions & Methodologies

We analyzed active U.S. e-receipt panelists with app-store-billed subscriptions from August 18, 2024 through August 18, 2026. The cohort contained 262 Logos subscribers; the benchmark contained 595,564 app-store subscribers. Tracked devotional apps were Hallow, YouVersion or Bible App+, Dwell, Abide, Pray.com, and Glorify. Direct Logos.com web and desktop subscribers are not captured, and individual-app cells are small. Co-payment means same-window occurrence, not sequence, concurrent use, substitution, or causality.
