How often did the cancellers return to MyOutdoorTV?

~2.0%, or 44 of 2,151 cancellers, had a later observed MyOutdoorTV subscription. That rate is a floor because a new email address or an unobserved subscription receipt can hide a return. The analysis shows that outdoor-category buying continued after cancellation, but it does not establish whether those shoppers would resubscribe.

Assumptions & Methodologies

We analyzed established U.S. e-receipt panelists with a MyOutdoorTV cancellation or subscription-ended event from July 2023–February 2026 and complete 180-day windows before and after. Cancellation timing came from Amazon Prime Video Channels lifecycle emails. Outdoor retail included Bass Pro Shops, Cabela’s, Sportsman’s Warehouse, Scheels, Academy Sports + Outdoors, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and RK Guns. The benchmark used active panelists in a matched 180-day window. Retail-email capture is incomplete, the cohort excludes other billing paths, and the comparison shows continued category buying rather than cancellation causes or willingness to return.
