How current were the Zwift payments among Wahoo buyers?
Of the 247 Wahoo hardware buyers with a Zwift receipt, 158, or 64.0%, also had Zwift activity from August 2025–August 2026. That shows that most observed Zwift relationships remained current during the final year, although receipt activity does not measure workout frequency or app usage.
How often did Zwift and Wahoo paid-app subscribers overlap?
Among 93 Wahoo paid-app subscribers, 20, or 21.5%, also paid Zwift. Among 1,191 Zwift subscribers, the same 20 people represented 1.7%. These 20-person overlap cells are small, so the rates are directional. They describe co-payment and do not establish which app came first or whether either replaced the other.
Assumptions & Methodologies
We analyzed YipitData’s U.S. e-receipt panel from August 2023–August 2026. Wahoo hardware buyers had receipts naming KICKR or other validated Wahoo devices; false text matches were excluded. Paid Wahoo software included SYSTM, Wahoo X, Sufferfest, and Wahoo memberships. Zwift included direct and app-store subscription receipts. Free bundled Wahoo software makes paid attach a floor, and app-store capture may be incomplete. Overlap measures receipts within the window, not subscription order, app usage, replacement, or causation. The 20-person app-overlap cells are directional rather than precise.
