How much did Yahoo Fantasy Plus bettors deposit?
Yahoo Fantasy Plus bettors made a median $432 in observed deposits during the 12-month window, compared with $250 for Yahoo Mail Plus bettors and $241 for general-panel bettors. The 186 observed Fantasy Plus bettors deposited about $1.78 million in aggregate, with ~87% going to DraftKings and FanDuel. Deposits are gross inflows, not operator revenue or bettor losses.
Assumptions & Methodologies
We identified active U.S. e-receipt panelists with Yahoo Fantasy Plus receipts (n=782), Yahoo Mail Plus receipts and no Fantasy Plus receipt (n=6,073), and a deterministic 2.5% general-panel sample (n=34,860). We measured deposits at eight named sportsbook and daily fantasy sports operators from August 18, 2025 through August 18, 2026. Bettor penetration is the share of each cohort with at least one deposit; deposit depth is median summed gross inflows per bettor, capped at $10,000 per order. Coverage excludes some app-store and daily-fantasy-only activity. The cohorts are descriptive, not demographically matched or causal.
