Was the gap also present one year earlier?

No. YouCam’s established panel subscriber count rose 13.7%, from 961 in H1 2024 to 1,093 in H1 2025. The rival category was nearly unchanged, moving from 12,754 to 12,725. The larger YouCam decline therefore appeared in the H1 2025–H1 2026 comparison rather than across both measured years.

How often did H1 2025 YouCam subscribers have another receipt within 12 months?

Among 1,093 H1 2025 YouCam subscribers, 34.3% had another receipt for the same app within the next 12 months, compared with a roughly 43% median across the tracked rival apps. Billing cadence and receipt capture differ by app, so the comparison is directional and does not equal Perfect Corp.’s internal renewal rate.

Did the panel continue to observe new YouCam subscribers?

Yes. The panel identified 357 newly observed YouCam subscribers in H1 2026. Their presence shows that new YouCam receipt activity continued during the decline, but it does not by itself prove why the total fell or whether price, product changes, competition, or another factor caused the change.

Assumptions & Methodologies

We analyzed YipitData’s U.S. e-receipt panel for Apple and Google subscription receipts from established panelists. YouCam included YouCam Makeup, Perfect, Video, Enhance, and AI Pro product names. The rival category combined tracked paid photo and beauty-editing apps, excluding general editors including Adobe and Canva. Half-year trends compared distinct subscribers in H1 2024, H1 2025, and H1 2026 within a fixed panel. Same-app 12-month continuation required another receipt for the same app after the H1 2025 observation. The panel is U.S.-only, receipt capture and billing cadence differ by app, and results are not audited subscribers, revenue, churn destinations, or causal estimates.
